Lanark Midis

Developing confident players through competitive rugby and teamwork

Lanark Rugby Club Midis bring together players from under 13 through to under 18, providing a vital stage in the club’s development pathway. At this level, players build on the foundations learned in the younger age groups, developing their technical skills, fitness and understanding of the game in a more structured and competitive environment.

Training sessions focus on improving individual ability while strengthening teamwork, communication and game awareness. With the support of dedicated volunteer coaches, players are encouraged to challenge themselves, grow in confidence and represent the club with pride.

The Midis section plays a key role in preparing players for the transition into senior rugby, while still maintaining the strong sense of enjoyment, camaraderie and community that defines Lanark Rugby Club.

Lanark Midis offers:

  • Rugby for players aged under 13 to under 18
  • Structured coaching focused on skill development and game understanding
  • Opportunities to play competitive fixtures and represent the club
  • A strong team environment that builds confidence and resilience
  • A clear pathway into senior rugby and the senior team

For many players, the Midis are where their rugby journey truly develops, helping them grow as players and as part of the Lanark Rugby Club community.
